What we ask for
When you register, RSVP, enter Cosmic Court, or contact us, we collect your name, email address, and anything else you choose to type into the form — a phone number, a social handle, or a note to the team.
Privacy
What we collect, and why.
Goteicon is run by a small volunteer crew. We only ask for the details we need to get you into the building and keep you posted, and we do not sell them to anyone.

What we do with it
We use it to confirm your spot, send you event details and schedule changes, and answer your questions. Cosmic Court entries are also used to seed the bracket and check you in on tournament day.

What we never do
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not hand it to advertisers. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never touch this site.
The details
How your details move around.
Where it is stored
Registrations and tournament entries are stored in our hosting provider's database. Form messages and newsletter sign-ups are stored with our hosting provider's form service. Both are access controlled and only the organising crew can read them.
How long we keep it
We keep registration and entry records through the event and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can handle refunds, follow-ups, and planning for the next one. Newsletter sign-ups stay until you unsubscribe.
Payments
Player registration and general admission are paid through a third-party payment or ticketing provider. That provider handles your card information under its own privacy policy — we only see that a payment was completed.
Photos and video
Goteicon and Cosmic Court are filmed and photographed. If you would rather not appear in event coverage, tell a crew member on site or email us ahead of time and we will do our best to keep you out of frame.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Every update email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not cancel your registration.
Under 18
Attendees under 18 should register with a parent or guardian's involvement. If a minor has signed up without permission, contact us and we will remove the record.
